Here is a list of the idiots, traitors, and cowards who voted on health care reform this weekend. If your Representative voted for the bill, or happens to be the one coward who voted "present", then you should begin to work toward that person's removal from office.

The Mouth of Sauron

Recent attacks by the White House against Fox News help demonstrate the mindset of our nation’s enemies. Newsmax.com quotes David Axelrod as saying that Fox News should not be treated as a news organization. He reportedly cited the network’s conservative slant and its interest in profits as invalidating factors. His statements reveal, yet again, the current administration’s loathing of the First Amendment and capitalism.

Axelrod’s charlatanism and double standards are typical of his political party. He sees nothing wrong with the leftist sycophants at CNN and MSNBC who treat Obama like a deity. Yet, he scoffs at the single conservative cable news station that dares to analyze and expose the extravagant spending and corruption of the administration and their nefarious underlings, such as ACORN. This is because, in the eyes of these leftists, the only valid viewpoint is their own. The First Amendment to the Constitution is meaningless to these people unless it is an instrument used to advance their cause and intimidate and stifle their opponents.

The attack against Fox News openly displays the administration’s Marxist totalitarian mindset. Leftists consider private enterprise to be evil. They despise successful entrepreneurs like Murdoch. They believe that all business should serve the State—more concretely, the interests of the leftist elite. Only those who back their ideology, such as Ted Turner, are encouraged to prosper, for now—as long as their prominence is politically expedient. That is why some leftists are currently discussing a media bailout. It would support the increasingly unprofitable and discredited state-aligned media—what we once thought of mistakenly as “mainstream media”—with our tax revenues.

Axelrod may be unaware of how much he resembles Tolkien’s Mouth of Sauron character, the mindless messenger of a malignant force. Axelrod truly may not be able to distinguish between genuine organs of the press, such as Fox News, and propaganda machines like NBC. Fox, AM radio, and the industrial sector are all in the Left’s crosshairs. But, perhaps, Axelrod has done us all one important, if unintended, service. His statements have sounded a clear alarum. This administration is the unabashed enemy of free speech and of all our other cherished liberties.

Copenhagen Treaty

The lie of man made climate change is a tool of the Left. They hope to further undermine our civilization by inundating us with this sort of propaganda and legislation. The Copenhagen Treaty is perhaps the most dangerous of these types of attacks. It is a measure that is meant to undermine this nation's sovereignty and gut what remains of its manufacturing sector. The treaty's ultimate goal is the complete deindustrialization our nation. It will do this by making it too expensive to produce and ship goods. It will also bleed what is left of our wealth to the lesser nations of the world--many of which consider the United States an enemy.

This treaty can not be allowed to pass. Any Senator who signs it is an enemy of the United States. We will post their names on this site and we will do everything in our power to expel these useful idiots from office.

Here is a link to a web-site that deals with this issues in detail:

Commissar Robert Reich

This is the promise of socialism—mass-murdering bureaucrats leading the people to slaughter. By the way, make a note of the cheering emanating from the useful idiots in the audience.

President Obama, or O, or just Zero, received a Nobel Peace Prize for talking about nuclear disarmament. This award only proves the fallacy of an organization that places its subversive Marxist agenda above its stated purpose of fostering global peace. George W. Bush, mistakenly, eliminated our Peacekeeper missiles (also known as the MX). These weapons represented the most powerful nuclear deterrent in existence. This was a major strategic mistake, but it was a step along the path of nuclear disarmament—a major theme of the global peace movement. Still, no group outside of the defense community even mentioned this (disastrous) reduction of the US nuclear stockpile.

The Nobel Peace Prize reinforces an unrealistic and effeminate view of the world. Our ancestors, the Ancient Greeks, Germans, and Romans, would have likely laughed at such a concept (and then slaughtered and enslaved its proponents). This prize is usually awarded to individuals who are working against the better interests of the United States and/or its allies. Just look at a few of the recent winners. The list includes: two terrorists, Yasser Arafat (1994) and Nelson Mandela (1993), and Jimmy Carter (2002)—a living embodiment of economic ruin and military disaster. Most recent winners have worked toward deindustrialization and/or similar subversive goals.

After considering the points mentioned above, it seems appropriate that Zero won this prize. He is an effeminate Marxist who uses empty rhetoric and political pressure to acquire and consolidate power. He is currently engaged in the process of destroying the US economy through unprecedented spending and the implementation of a radical environmental agenda. He is also emasculating the US military through the defunding of weapons programs and the granting of constitutional rights to foreign terrorists. Zero’s interests, obviously, do not reflect those of this nation. He has repeatedly stated that he considers himself a member of the international community. Therefore, he is in fact the best recipient for an award aimed at promoting anti-American and anti-Western agendas.

Is the Race Card Busted?

The Race Card was, until recently, the Ace up the Left’s collective sleeve. They used it to promote their agenda in both the public and private sectors. Shakedown artists like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton made their carreers (and vast fortunes) by employing this device. Recent discourses surrounding the health care debate, however, seem to indicate that the Race Card has lost some of its former power and is turning into little more than a "Rag Card".

Years of abuse and mishandling have devalued the Race Card’s worth. Contemporary generalizations on the part of “activist entertainers” and political commentators regarding T.E.A. Party protestors have highlighted the current weakness of this tactic. The idea that all anti-health care reform protestors are white racists is so obviously false that even some democrats seem unconvinced. Even with their domination of the media, the Left can’t hide the fact that these protestors represent a group that is as diverse in its political affiliations as it is in the demographic traits of its constituents.

Furthermore, cases like the brutal beating of Kenneth Gladney advance the notion that this conflict is not racial, but ideological. There is an important question at its center, does America want to regain its lost economic power, or does it want to continue sliding down the pit of European style socialism (an economic system that is finally being rejected by Europeans)?

It is safe to say that few people care about the fact that Zero is a mulatto. But millions are concerned with the fact that he and his handlers are Marxists. Luckily, a large enough portion of the American public no longer allows itself to be lied to by the state-run media. As a result, the Left’s pathetic attempt to sway this debate with outdated racial tactics only reinforces the conservative position.

Watching the news this morning I saw a clip of Michael Moore’s latest documentary and after my initial automatic gag reflex it dawned on me - what exactly is a “right” and what do people interpret them to be? Well, as identified in the U.S. Constitution it is a philosophical concept where a ruler or ruling class would be prevented from taking away certain “rights”, from it’s subjects, which inhere to their person as part of being human. This concept is also known as inalienable rights and tend to include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

However, it appears that this definition is currently being ubiquitously challenged. From education to health care, the concept of a right has shifted from that of the preservation of individual action to that of a politically motivated, and aggressively redistributive collective entitlement.

What this ultimately means is that a right ,in its traditional philosophical sense, is the "right" to be able to attempt to accomplish or pursue certain activities. The right to work , purchase and own property, move, breathe, walk etc… These are in fact rights. On the other hand, the challenging definition does not regard actions as part of the interpretation because it is not interested in what the government or ruling class should be able to tell you what one should be prohibited or not from doing, but rather, it regards the final results of actions i.e. product as the right in question.

Under the cloak of political, social, and economic justice - many individuals and virtually all the media and politicians in a juxtaposition of facts champion the notion that education, health care, shelter, food, standard of living, so on and so forth are tangible “rights” rather than the actual pursuit of these interests. What’s worse is that these rights as most things are not actually free, come at the expense of those individuals who by having chosen to act on these rights have actually EARNED the results.

The danger of this regardless of any ones political allegiance is simple. Currently the average person pays approximately 50% of what they make in taxes to be redistributed AS the government SEEs FIT, this estimate is based on adding together state, local, federal, property, payroll, sales, sin, estate taxes, etc… This effectively means that ½ of everything most people will ever make is property of the government. Further Section 61 of IRC code identifies gross income in short as EVERYTHING, unless it specifically excludes it (by the way, bartering is also taxable).

If the pattern of increased taxation continues and entitlements or “rights” continue to be disbursed on a mass scale, the government then no longer works for us but rather we would work for them and if you look closely that is also the definition of slavery. I myself would prefer the option of indentured servitude, first there was an agreement as to the conditions beforehand and also at somepoint you actually get to go free -typically 7 years or so.

Learning from the Enemy

I would like all of you to read a recent MSNBC article on Sarah Palin (I posted a link below). It's full of attacks on her (no surprises there), but it still serves to give me hope. This is because we finally see a conservative who has learned from the strategies of her enemies. Mrs. Palin is using the Left's tactics against them. She kept hostile reporters out of the meeting (just like Obama and his czars do), and raised an unspecified amount of money (hopefully a massive and inordinate sum) through public speaking (just like the Clintons do). These may not be the most honorable of tactics, but when the barbarians have bested your regular forces and are busily burning your fields, you either surrender to a life of slavery or become a guerrilla.

Wilson’s Apology

One of my favorite quotes drawn from the writings of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius is, “If it is good to do or say something, then it is even better to be criticized for having said or done it.” That is, if you are correct in your assertions, as Wilson is, you should consider the attacks on your position to be marks of honor. Therefore, the piece of stoic wisdom mentioned above is relevant to the “controversy” surrounding Representative Wilson and his recent outburst.

It has been confirmed that Wilson was correct in his assessment of President Zero. Therefore, he was right in reacting the way that he did. No one should be criticized for correctly calling-out a liar. This is especially true when dealing with dishonest political leaders. Since their lies are capable of inflicting far more damage to the American people than the lies of other, less powerful, scoundrels.

Wilson’s apology might be what is expected of a politician by a modern audience. Surely, it's what's considered right by our culture. And yes, it makes him look good to moderates since they are likely to see him as a man who has repented for a momentary lapse in civility and is doing the right thing by apologizing. The apology, however, is negligible. This is because such civil behavior is not respected, nor practiced, by President Zero and the rest of the Left. They just see Wilson's civility as a weakness that they can exploit.

Therefore, why should we conservatives adhere to such polite and civilized customs when dealing with those who despise such qualities? Would it not be better to act more like our nobler ancestors and refuse to grant our enemies such privileges? After all, the leftists have already done away with such civilities in their dealings with conservatives. Aren’t they then unworthy of participating in such a system? The answer is yes. We should not collaborate with those who only pay lip service to such customs?

Please note that I am not calling for a complete abandonment of our principles. I am merely stating that we should not play by the rules while the other side is cheating. We should continue to behave in an honorable manner while among fellow civil individuals, even those who don’t agree with us. We should only treat these extreme leftists with contempt.

Therefore, I believe that Representative Wilson made a mistake by apologizing to President Zero. Yet, he did in some ways redeem himself by not apologizing to Congress. In such dark days we should appreciate any victory, no matter how small. We should also support Wilson as much as possible. Perhaps if we fervently back Wilson other politicians will learn from his example. Maybe then some of those “servants of the Republic” will begin to act accordingly.

Much like the age-old childhood tale, it now appears the radical left wing could be starting to suffer the same affliction as the bored shepherd boy. For decades, certain topics (in this case race) have been deemed so taboo that any individual who is not a direct beneficiary would be wise to avoid any association. For years, the ultimate game changer of the left – the RACE CARD, has been the A-Bomb of the commies. Fortunately, its recent overuse may have hurt the democrats more than they can imagine.

Why? Simple – the ad hominem attack of racism is rapidly being exposed for the cheap and desperate political wild card that it has been. In less than a few weeks, any opposition to the presidents’ policies has laughably been attributed to racism and people are starting to take notice.

April 16th 2009 – Janene Garafalo, leftwing nut and has been ahem “actress” claims that all tea party demonstrators are “racist rednecks

July 22nd 2009 – Obama “Police Acted Stupidly” before knowing any of the facts of the Skip GAtes case.

August 21st 2009 – Governor David Paterson of NY claims that his and Obama’s critics are racists.

September 4th 2009 – Charlie Rangel Blames Health Care setbacks on "Racists"

September 15th 2009 – Congress shamefully amidst “a healthcare crisis”, “a financial meltdown”, and the worst unemployment in close to 30 years i.e. 9.4% meets to “rebuke” congressmen Joe Wilson’s “you lie” comment.

September 15th 2009 – Rep Hank Johnson claims that Joe Wilson’s comments will lead to “White Hoods”

September 16th 2009 – Jimmy Carter ex US President declares that criticisms of Obama are racially charged.

September 16th 2009 –Maureen Dowd, New York Times wrote in her editorial that she heard “you lie boy” rather than “you lie” implying that Congressman Joe Wilson’s statements were racially charged in her op-ed “Boy, Oh, Boy

NO – it isn’t that the proposed healthcare plans are discomforting, or that people can’t express opposition to elected officials who supposedly work for them, while they thumb their noses and lecture citizens about what they are supposed to think, or the fact that the average person pays approximately 50% of what they make in taxes and receive no actual benefit in return. NO, of course not, people who are upset are just rednecks racists – oddly enough according to the census, I’m Hispanic and regard myself as just American.

Seeing the signs

Conservative TM sent a link to the Americans for Prosperity web-site. They have several photos of the march today (13SEP09). Check it out at the link provided below. Then look at the pictures at the bottom of this article. Afterward, consider the following: why is it that all of our side's signs are homemade? And why is it that so many of our opponents wear uniforms and hold mass-produced, standardized, signs?

Here's Conservative TM's link:

ACORN Stikes Again

State Representative Joe Wilson’s (R-SC) outburst during President Zero’s speech on healthcare last night was the most refreshing and encouraging thing that I’ve seen come out of Washington since Ronald Reagan was in office. At last, I thought, a politician has shown the guts to say what we all know. Obama is a liar. What really makes this great though is that it is a member of our corrupt government that is calling him out. Any analysis of Obama during his tenure as president doesn’t get much more precise and simple than that one word.

I fear, however, that Representative Wilson will back peddle. He has already apologized for his outburst and Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) called for Wilson’s censure earlier today. Unfortunately, the predictable process of misdirection and character assassination has already begun. The blogs are full of attacks on Wilson. I am sure that this is only the beginning. I can already hear professors and political analysts discussing the history of such outbursts on the various news shows. It’s only a matter of time before they compare Representative Wilson with Preston Brooks and Obama with Charles Sumner.

The Left's tactics are predictable. They can’t win a debate unless they confuse the issue(s) at hand. Their ideas can not stand the light of truth. Their lies and programs to destroy the United States are only effective when mistakenly accepted as the gospel truth by the majority of the American people. They, and their ideas, crumble when they are exposed and fairly debated. This is also why control of our universities and the media is so important to these enemies of America. Without the lies and propaganda generated by those bastions of the fifth column there would be no Obama.

No matter what happens to State Representative Wilson, however, I feel content in knowing that the damage is done. The first serious volley has been launched against the Anointed One’s fortress. And it was not fired by someone that they can easily dismiss. This was not a TEA Party member with a catchy slogan on a sign. This was a member of Congress. Wilson's statement is like a trebuchet of patriotism aimed at the den of the licentious. The ball is rolling. Let’s hope that it gathers momentum and smashes Zero’s edifices down to the dust and filth from which they sprang.

Above you'll find what I consider to be one of the best South Park episodes of all time. In short, it's a comical yet in a typical Trey Parker and Matt Stone manner, a dead on depiction of the self described "progressives" who shamelessly attempt to pass off or more accurately misrepresent their behavior (riots, music festivals, vandalism) as acts of "social justice".

Video

Saturday, September 5, 2009

A friend shared this excerpt from a poem with me earlier today. He and I discussed its message and merit at length. We both agreed that even though Dryden addressed this satirical work to a late 17th century English audience, its message can be both understood and considered relevant to a contemporary American listener.

God’s pampered people, whom, debauched with ease,
No king could govern, nor no God could please;
Gods they had tried of every shape and size,
That godsmiths could produce, or priests devise;
These Adam-wits, too fortunately free,
Began to dream they wanted liberty:
And when no rule, no precedent was found,
Of men, by laws less circumscribed and bound;
They led their wild desires to woods and caves,
And thought that all but savages were slaves.

Hello readers,

I just wanted to make a quick announcement.

In case you missed it, we have two new links up today. One leads to a blog by a fellow conservative blogger, ConservativeTM. You don’t want to miss this blog. The writing is excellent and the topics are pertinent to most of our concerns. The other link, “5 Decades, 5 Myths” is a piece by famed poet, literature professor, and art critic Ricardo Pau-Llosa. His piece deals with the misconceptions propagated by the left concerning the communist government in Cuba.

You should also check out his web-site:

Every time Obama gives a speech, we all lose money—market traders and everyday folks alike. The policies he reveals during those fits of demagoguery are aimed at undermining the foundations of the American economy. Obama knows that a pessimistic message by a president can make the American people uneasy about a sector, thereby swaying the market. Our president’s speeches are weapons aimed at the heart of the American economy. There is nothing coincidental about it.

Obama is a race-baiting, Chicago street thug Marxist radical behind a thin varnish of teleprompter-induced aplomb. Many pundits and regular citizens saw through him during the election. Some commentators, mostly on AM radio and FOX News, actually warned the public about this. Unfortunately, too many voters either did not believe the threat to be real, or actually wanted this sort of “leadership” in the White House. Others, Colin Powell for example, voted for Obama along racial lines, disguising bald identity politics with phony arguments.

Even erstwhile Obama supporters are now seeing the link between his policies and their diminishing portfolios. Mad Money star, Jim Cramer, for example, admits that he voted for Obama, yet this has not stopped him from understanding how detrimental the president’s policies are to the economy. More recently, Cap and Trade was attacked by none other than Warren Buffett, the tycoon whose backing of Obama during the 2008 election rode shotgun for the Obama team and its shoddy economic credentials. Obviously, what’s in the wallets of men like Kramer and Buffett has finally overtaken the baffling motivations they may have had for endorsing a politician who, frankly, is delivering on the bad economic policies he promised during the campaign.

Unfortunately, it is only now that we stand upon the precipice of the Obama Depression that many of his backers are admitting to seeing the threat that Obama posses to their personal wealth and the future of this country. Tragic recognition always comes too late, but while in Greek drama it makes for moving tragedy, in contemporary politics it makes for inescapable farce. Considering what Obama and his collaborators did to GM and the banks, one has to assume that the damage may well be irreversible. Whoever hopes to lead in our national recovery in the next election must articulate now an unsparing view of the devastation that is unfolding in front of our eyes. Consciousness and conscience do not wait for campaign seasons.

Graduate School, Rant 1

This is the first in a series of articles meant to serve as proof that college is little more than a place where Marxists go to masturbate.

The issue of a sales tax-based tax system came up in a class discussion last week. A student who has made much about his political activist past in Cuba mentioned that such a tax was unfair to the poor. I did not understand his point since everyone is a consumer. So, what could be fairer than a tax that hits everyone and not just a select few earners? The professor changed the subject and we did not discuss it further. I was left curious though as to what this guy meant.

I approached the activist during a break. When I asked him to explain his statement he got angry. He said that such a tax would be unfair to the poor since they have to spend a higher percentage of their income on the necessities of life.

I still didn’t get it. So, I asked him, “How about the taxes that the rich will pay on high value items?” This just made him angrier. He answered that the rich don’t buy cars and homes every year. And then it hit me, this guy is not what he claims to be. He is not an anti-communist. So, in order to prove my suspicion, I asked him, “Do you see taxes as a way to punish successful people?” At this point he was practically foaming at the mouth. But, he had no answer. He just started explaining that everyone, including our professor, agreed with his belief that such a tax would be unfair (he is obviously clueless as to my low opinion of the faculty and their intelligence). Then, just because I’m a perverse bastard, I told him, “Well, I could accept your version of a tax that hits the wealthy harder than the poor, but I think that the wealthy should get something in exchange.” He looked at me with a puzzled look on his face. I told him that if someone pays heavier taxes, then that person’s vote should weigh more. His temples flared and he started losing his grip on the English language. He yelled, “What! Do you want a return to what we had 200 years ago?” I was not sure what he meant, but I was content in the fact that my work was done, so I looked at my watch, and headed back to class with a smile on my face.

Mission accomplished: another one of Castro’s infiltrators forced to blow his cover.

Thursday, February 5, 2009

On the way home from school tonight I was awestruck about something I heard on the radio. A recently published article was being discussed by its author Jill Nelson, titled - The Audacity of Whiteness, well, lets just say it kinda reaffirmed me in trying to get this blog off the ground and at the very least an outlet for many of my built up frustrations. I researched the article and read it several times over and was left floored, can't say surprised, but definitely floored. In any case, just about ready to start my rant then I came across a blog Conservative Black Woman who just about summed it up for me. Also, I like a lot of what she has to say. I’ll be trying to hunt her down and see if we can mooch off her success (just kidding). Hopefully when we finally get some more material they’ll come a flocking.

Here is another link to Conservative Black Woman’s site and though I did not vote for McCain this past election, or like him much as a candidate either, I did like Palin. It was terrible to see how she was used a punching bag for no reason other than she is a female conservative i.e. a traitor and therefore enemy # 1 of the liberal agenda.

Hugs-n-Kisses

For the non business types – Keynesian Theory relies on something called aggregate demand (or better yet artificial aggregate demand) it is the demand for the gross domestic product (GDP) of a country, and is represented by this formula: Aggregate Demand (AD) = C + I + G (X-M) C = Consumers' expenditures on goods and services. I = Investment spending by companies on capital goods. G = Government expenditures on publicly provided goods and services. X = Exports of goods and services. M = Imports of goods.
Problem – it’s an ASSUMPTION that monies redistributed will keep demand at equilibrium.

Yup, He's a Plant

I mentioned in an earlier post that watching John McCain's performance during the election one might feel inclined to think that one was watching a democrat plant and not a serious candidate. I was just joking at the time, but now I fear that I was, unintentionally I assure you, on to something. I think that the Senator’s most recent statements in defense of the Left can pretty much lay all of my doubts to rest. If what the media outlets say is true, then McCain seems to be moving into a position where he will serve as a sort of liaison between the creature in the White House and the remnants of the Republican Party in Congress.

Does anyone remember a guy named Vidkun Quisling, or another guy named Marshal Pétain? No, of course not, because the Left has politicized and dumbed down all educational institutions.

Let me explain my statement. What we got here is a weak-spined collaborator. I really think that the commies broke this guy in Nam and reprogrammed him to serve them back in the States. And now he’s serving his purpose of undermining the West’s last bastion from within its political institutions.

Sad part is that the Republican Party is oblivious to this internal threat. So, I guess we are pretty much screwed. All we can do is urge our party to reject this man, the creature in the White House, and all of the forms of socialism that are being shoved down our throats.

The Signs Are Everywhere

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

sums it up quite well

Sunday, January 18, 2009

Why did we lose the 2008 election? Answer: John McCain. Sure, George Bush and leftist propaganda helped, but, there were other, more important, reasons that led to this disaster, explicitly, John McCain’s weakness as a candidate. Those who blame Sarah Palin either do not know what they are talking about or have some other issue with her.

It was not all McCain’s fault. Other factors were at play. The democrats fought dirty. They registered thousands of non-existent voters (at least 20,000 in Ohio alone). They intimidated conservative voters at the polls and at the workplace. And they used the media to cover-up the worthlessness and evil nature of their candidate, while assaulting Senator McCain’s record and character on an hourly basis.

The chips were certainly piled high against Senator McCain. Still, none of this could hide the fact that the Left ran a hideous “creepy” construct that hates America as its candidate. This fact was not lost on all Americans. In fact, so many people came out to stop that creature that even though McCain had very little support, the election was actually pretty close. So why did we lose? Simply put, John McCain was a poor choice.

To be fair, McCain was fighting on all fronts. His age and wounds were highlighted by the mainstream media (or as El Rushbo refers to them, the “drive-by” media). They attacked him for being out of breath in a debate, they called him “out of touch” --basically an old guy. And they made fun of the fact that he does not use computer keyboards. The first attack cannot be defended against. McCain is an old guy. Outside of siphoning some of Keith Richards’ mojo, there is not much anyone can do about this. As for the typing bit, the man simply cannot lift his arms for a long enough period in order to use a keyboard. This is due to injuries suffered while serving his country against the allies of the Democratic Party, a limitation that should have been seen as a sign of prestige, not of weakness.

This writer believes that a better, more aggressive, politician could have overcome all of the problems mentioned above. The Republican Party should have run a younger, tougher individual who actually stood for some of the party’s ideals. Look at the response from the base when McCain picked Governor Palin. Imagine what would have happened if “our guy” would have attacked Obama on a daily basis instead of working toward some sort of idealistic gentlemanly union with our enemies (these people hate America, so yes, I use the term enemies, not opponents).

McCain looked physically weak, and his attempts to collaborate with the enemy seem to have won him only one supporter, Senator Lieberman, while costing him at least thirty percent of the Republican vote. That betrayal of the base was not his only mistake. There were a number of moves by McCain that led this writer to feel as if he were watching a democrat plant at work and not a serious candidate. Consider his backing of the bailout with the billions in pork, and let’s not start with his foolish adherence to campaign finance reform. This was Chamberlain and Hitler all over again; a well-intentioned series of actions, meant in a spirit of common respect and honor, being directed toward an individual who saw in those acts only signs of weakness that could be exploited. This election, like the Second World War, was a disaster for the West.

This writer would argue that the attacks on McCain’s age and physical condition were rude and dishonorable and that they should never have been taken-up by the drive-by media. Unfortunately, our enemies have no regard for honor and grace. Therefore, the argument is futile. We will need to keep these ideas in mind during the next election (if we are allowed to participate). We will need to sell our candidate. The Left was able to do this by making sure that their man always looked good. They kept him in a positive light, never asked him to explain his ideas, and covered-up all of his faults and failures. This is something that they will not do for a Republican, and especially not a conservative, candidate. Therefore, we have to have a virtual demigod that the media cannot ignore, someone who is super clean, with a Reagan-like stage presence, and who understands the economy and US foreign policy. By the way, it would not hurt if the guy actually held some conservative views and had the guts to defend them. Imagine what such a candidate could do with Governor Palin on his ticket. As much as this writer hates to say it, this is what politics have come to in the Age of the Mechanical Bride. Goodbye substance, hello fluff.

Useful Idiots

I’ve often wondered why it is that the Republican Party does not single out and destroy its enemies. There are several easy targets that are so corrupt and/or foolish that they would be easy pickings. Al Sharpton, for example, is supposedly a blatant “shake-down artist.” Surely a simple investigation of the man and his organizations would yield enough incriminating evidence to put him away.

So, why does the Right not act? I always figured that cowardice had something to do with this lack of resolve. Attacking a major black figure like Sharpton, for example, could easily lead to allegations of racism. Such attacks could cost the Party votes that it can not afford to lose. Such a move would also open the door for more blatant attacks on the Party from the Left and its lackey whores in the media.

Recently, however, I’ve begun to see another reason for this lack of aggression on our side. What does it profit us to put these guys on the defensive? Surely, the case can be made that people like Sharpton do more damage to their side than good. When a voter sees the lies and hypocrisy of the Left it allows him to make a more favorable estimation of the Right. Also, what does it matter if we take a leader down? There will always be more waiting in the political queue behind them.

What is necessary then is to create a general lack of trust and respect of the Left amongst the citizens of this country. We must diminish the Left’s leaders, their support structure, and their ideology. The personal attacks must be such that they disable the leadership, but do not destroy it. We must make people like Sharpton subjects of ridicule--like they did to George W. Bush. We must make their “Useful Idiots” our idiots.

Well it's almost game time... now, being a Philadelphia resident you might think I'm talking about next week when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Arizona Cardinals for the NFC championship - which they will, in what also I think will ultimately turn out to be an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl 43. However, as much as I am looking forward to the Steelers being taken down due to other personal vendettas, I am of course talking about another game all together... The Presidency of the United States.
On January 20th, 2009 the clock officially starts ticking and everything from thereon is officially on Obama’s watch. For those of you paying any attention there are a few minor things the current president elect has vowed to tackle... Will he be able to? What bridges will he be forced to burn? How will the media whom remain in a state of utter euphoria handle the inevitable failures many of us are expecting? Regardless, we shall all be witness.

MORE - Yuri Bezmenov

My belief that we have been on one way ticket back to serfdom was cemented several months ago while checking and updating my newly created Facebook profile. In what appeared at the time to be a series of seemingly harmless drunken posts by people I thought to be otherwise normal, the unveiling of how delusional we as a society have become is now un-bashfully apparent. Though I admit to be not quite sure if we have been brainwashed, stopped thinking for ourselves, drugged, our bodies used as hosts for alien parasites aiming at taking us over, or are simply stupid (potentially a combination of all of the above) it’s clear, synapses aren’t exactly running at full capacity.

It’s as if standards have been replaced by catch phrases and slogans, popular culture has morphed into the status quo, actuality and facts have been replaced by a delusional euphoria.

In any case, as I was browsing through many of my friends and coworkers profiles I watched in awe as everyone began joining the “yes we can group”, or the “change we can believe in group” by the droves. This of course was also complimented by everyone emphatically declaring their disgust for Alaska’s governor for reasons as compelling as – she winks, she didn’t know what the Bush Doctrine was, or, looking to Tina Fey as the actual Sara Palin. It is more than clear that she was used as a punching bag and the media not only allowed it to transpire, they actually served as it’s chief architects and major catalysts.

The best though, I must admit, was reading some friends post where comments like, “finally my kids will now have a bright future”, after Obama was elected, became something of regularity, all the while I’m thinking to myself – what the fuck is wrong with these people? Have I been cryogenically frozen and placed in some bizarro parallel universe? Many of these starlets in the anti-Bush camp (and trust me, he has been a major letdown) defend people like Castro and Chavez, but now their kids will have a brighter future, interesting? Oh… I guess that’s why people come from COMMUNIST Cuba on rafts risking their lives, and the lives of their children, to live under the tyranny of the Bush Doctrine. Man, it’s all so clear now… what was I thinking
